2023 Season Changes

As Tupac Shakur noted, changes are just the way it is, and things will never be the same. In the spirit of creating a member-first tour, LaFlare Golf sent a survey to all members to gauge what they like, what they don’t, and what can improve. The powers that be took that information and molded what was already great into something much better for everyone.

Summary of changes:

Three Seasons in both Knoxville & Chattanooga

  • 2 v 2 Scramble

  • Matchup winner scores a point for their team

  • Winning team receives 10 LFG Tour Points

Handicapped Events

  • Red Tees (6099 yards)

LaFlare Golf Championships

  • Blue Tee- Can assign one member of the opposing team to hit from the back tees on the hole of your choice; Each player receives one Blue Tee

  • Rewind- Can request one member of the opposing team to re-hit their previous shot; Team must play their re-hit ball; Each player receives one Rewind

  • One Club Challenge- Players will only be permitted to use their 6 iron on Hole 5 until the ball is holed
